Innovative Language Learning

This template was designed for use as a comporate center for Innovative Language Learning's many podcast language learning sites. I put a bit of Web 2.0 wet glass into it.

Haskins Law Group

Mike wanted his site to look professional and strong. I used the Denver skyline along with the Colorado Rockies to make the site inviting yet get across the feel of strength and stability.

Emfood

This was my second project for Emkap.com. Working on a recipe site allows you to use some bold colors along with mouth-watering graphics. I also wanted to make sure that when the recipe was printed that the rest of the page was not.

Squeaky Clean Portable Showers

With this site I wanted to give an impression of steamed glass. I was going for a clean, just out of the hot shower look.

MadKap Cards

Emily sells what she calls “hand-crafted snarky greeting cards”. It was her idea to design the site around a Mad Hatter theme that went well with her business name MadKap Cards. We decided on a purple and maroon color pallet to suggest a little magic. I chose a very bizarre font and added some contrasting green text to convey a little more madness to the site. Look for the dormouse in the teapot.

Cristal Nails

Cristal wanted her site to be both classy and cute. I wanted to pick a font that reflected Cristal’s bubbly attitude and her sparkle. I used pinks and purples to give it a feminine touch. The black and white photography matches well with the strong white borders.

Nathan's Garden

Nathan is an avid gardener and photographer. He wanted a site that reflected the bright colors of the garden and the open airy feel of the backyard. I used pictures and colors from his garden to create this template for him to work from. The bright green borders would normally be too overpowering on most sites, but I was surprised by how much they added to the site. I particularly like the Trebuchet font we chose for his header.
