Decadent Chocolate Truffles

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups (18 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

OPTIONAL COATINGS

  • Cocoa
  • Finely chopped toasted nuts (hazelnuts add a great flavor!)
  • flaked coconut
  • chocolate jimmies
  • colored sprinkles

DIRECTIONS

  • In large saucepan, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk.
  • Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
  • Pour into medium bowl.
  • Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours or until firm.
  • Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in desired coating.
  • Store in refrigerator.

EagleŽ Brand Creamy Chocolate Sweetened Condensed Milk can be substituted for a more chocolaty truffle.
