Decadent Chocolate Truffles
INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups (18 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
OPTIONAL COATINGS
- Cocoa
- Finely chopped toasted nuts (hazelnuts add a great flavor!)
- flaked coconut
- chocolate jimmies
- colored sprinkles
DIRECTIONS
- In large saucepan, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk.
- Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
- Pour into medium bowl.
- Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours or until firm.
- Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in desired coating.
- Store in refrigerator.
