Ribs with Honey Barbecue Sauce
Goes great on chicken also.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 lb. lean spare ribs
HONEY BARBEQUE SAUCE
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 c. honey
- 1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tsp. Dijon style mustard
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 tbsp. brown sugar
DIRECTIONS
- Cut spare ribs into serving pieces.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and garlic powder.
- Place in a shallow baking pan. Roast at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Combine all sauce ingredients in saucepan and simmer for 5minutes.
- Brush ribs with honey barbecue sauce.
- Continue to bake and baste ribs until they are tender and beautifully glazed, about 1 hour more.
Store leftover sauce in the refrigerator. Makes approximately 1 1/2 cups of sauce.
