Creamy Heath Dessert
a.k.a Tucson Blizzard from Sara Eng
INGREDIENTS
- 60 Ritz crackers
- 1/2 cup melted margerine
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 small packages vanilla instant pudding
- 12 oz. container Cool Whip
- Heath Bits O'Brickle or 3 original Heath bars
DIRECTIONS
- Crush Ritz crackers, add melted margerine.
- Press into bottom of 9x13 pan.
- Mix vanilla ice cream, milk, and vanilla instant pudding. Spread over crackers.
- Add Cool Whip. Smooth over ice cream mixture.
- Sprinkle Heath Bits O'Brickle over top (or crushed original Heath Bars).
- Refrigerate.
Other combinations of ice cream and pudding flavors may be used.
I have also used Skors bars when I couldn't find Heath. But the bits are easier!
