Creamy Heath Dessert

a.k.a Tucson Blizzard from Sara Eng

INGREDIENTS

  • 60 Ritz crackers
  • 1/2 cup melted margerine
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 small packages vanilla instant pudding
  • 12 oz. container Cool Whip
  • Heath Bits O'Brickle or 3 original Heath bars

DIRECTIONS

  • Crush Ritz crackers, add melted margerine.
  • Press into bottom of 9x13 pan.
  • Mix vanilla ice cream, milk, and vanilla instant pudding. Spread over crackers.
  • Add Cool Whip. Smooth over ice cream mixture.
  • Sprinkle Heath Bits O'Brickle over top (or crushed original Heath Bars).
  • Refrigerate.

Other combinations of ice cream and pudding flavors may be used.

I have also used Skors bars when I couldn't find Heath. But the bits are easier!
